The visit to a "dacha" will offer an interesting insight into this aspect of Russian life. Originally developed in the Soviet period as a means to increase local food production, "dachas" are weekend cottages or summer cabins on small plots of land, which supply garden – grown vegetables and escape from the frenzy of life in a big city.
Our dacha tour will pass through Vladivostok's suburbs to a typical dacha community.
A typical dacha lunch in the company of the hosts is also included.
